Who do you work with?
We work with commercial electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC contractors, general contractors and their trade partners on commercial and industrial projects, and manufacturing plants. That includes building component manufacturers that make roof trusses, wall panels and floor panels. Our contacts are typically owners, project managers, superintendents, plant and operations managers, and HR teams.
How is G&N different from a typical staffing agency?
We focus on skilled trades and production work, not general office staffing. We know what a job site or plant floor needs: the right skills, safety awareness, and people who show up and stay. Our goal is a long-term relationship built on a clear understanding of each client's work.
What trades and positions does G&N fill?
G&N fills these skilled trades and production roles:
- Commercial electrical: electricians, apprentices and helpers
- Welders and fabricators
- Sheet metal workers
- Commercial plumbers and plumbing helpers
- HVAC and duct installers
- Manufacturing production workers and machine operators
- Building component plant workers (roof truss, wall panel and floor panel builders)
- Logistics and material handling staff
Availability depends on the role, the location, and each client's requirements.
Is G&N a staffing agency for commercial electricians?
Yes. G&N Human Capital Solutions provides commercial electricians, electrical apprentices and helpers to electrical contractors and general contractors, on a Temp, Temp-to-Perm or Direct Hire basis.
Can G&N provide welders and fabricators?
Yes. G&N provides experienced welders and fabricators to manufacturing plants, fabrication shops and contractors on commercial and industrial projects.
Do you staff commercial construction projects, including large ones?
Yes, nationwide. We support contractors on commercial and industrial projects across the U.S., such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, healthcare and other large builds, with trade workers for the duration of the work or the phase they're needed.
Can G&N staff a project outside Florida or Ohio?
Yes. Florida and Ohio are our home markets, but we have national reach for commercial and industrial projects and can support contractors on projects across the U.S.
What staffing options does G&N offer?
We offer three options:
- Temp: workers are on G&N's payroll for the length of your project or need.
- Temp-to-Perm: workers start on G&N's payroll, and you can hire them once they've proven themselves.
- Direct Hire: we recruit, and the worker joins your payroll from day one.
How quickly can G&N fill a position?
We can deploy workers quickly. We draw on an extensive, deep database of experienced tradespeople and production workers, so we can often match qualified people to your project or plant fast. We confirm the timeline with you up front.
How does requesting workers work?
We start with a conversation about the trades or positions you need, the number of workers, the skills and certifications required, the location, and your timeline. Then we lay out the staffing options and coordinate the next steps.
Are the workers G&N employees or the client's employees?
It depends on the option. Temp and Temp-to-Perm workers are employed by G&N and paid through our payroll until a Temp-to-Perm worker is hired by the client. Direct Hire workers are the client's employees from day one. Responsibilities follow the agreed arrangement.
What workers' compensation coverage do you provide?
We can share information about our workers' compensation coverage, the job classifications that apply, and our insurance documentation, including a certificate of insurance on request. Coverage details are confirmed based on the services contracted.
Does G&N provide workplace safety support?
Depending on the services contracted, we may offer safety support alongside staffing, such as safety program guidance, workplace inspections, incident documentation and safety awareness training.
Do you offer training for workers?
We can support training tied to the client's positions and site procedures, within the agreed scope, so workers understand their duties and the site's expectations.
How does G&N treat its temporary workers?
We treat our temp staff like full-time team members. We also have dedicated office staff whose job is to solve any issue quickly, for the worker and for the client, so problems don't land on your supervisors.
What happens if there's an issue with a worker on site?
Contact G&N and our dedicated office staff will work with you and the worker to resolve it quickly.
What does operational support include?
Depending on each client's needs, operational support may include help with onboarding, workflow and work organization, and performance tracking.
What areas does G&N serve?
Our home markets are Florida and Ohio. For commercial and industrial projects, we have national reach and support contractors on projects across the U.S. Availability depends on the trade, the project location, and the specific requirements.
Does G&N offer design or drafting services?
Yes. Through our sister company G&N CADxperts, we provide CAD drafting and truss design services.
